4 daysOur 4 days Pokhara kayak course teaches you kayak rafting skills amidst the most beautiful surroundings!
Learn paddling, balancing and other different techniques during our 4-day school on picturesque Seti River passing through deep gorges and sandy beaches. The relatively warm water of the river and gradually increasing size of rapids is ideal for beginners and intermediate kayakers.

Day 1: Drive to Seti River and kayak intro
Drive to Seti River and kayak intro
We travel from Pokhara to the Seti River to begin the course with an introduction to kayaking in a safe and calm environment, out on the slow flowing and large pools of the Seti River near Damauli. The day will include safety demonstrations and learning paddle techniques, balancing and steering kayaks.
Kayaking duration: Approximately 4-5 hours.
Meals: Lunch & dinner.
Accommodation: Overnight in tent.
Day 2: Kayaking and 1-2 grade rapids

Today we refresh your new knowledge before putting you in control of the kayak to test your skills. As we paddle gently downstream through gentle grade 1 and 2 rapids, there will be plenty of opportunity to hone your balancing and steering skills, all under the watchful guidance of our experienced instructors.
Kayaking duration: Approximately 4-5 hours.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Accommodation: Overnight in tent.
Day 3: Kayak and focus on selected skills
Kayak and focus on selected skills
After breakfast, we paddle down river encountering gentle rapids to gain more experience in the river environment. After lunch we have a focused skills session.
Kayaking duration: Approximately 4-5 hours.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Accommodation: Overnight in tent.
Day 4: Larger rapids and drive back to Pokhara
Larger rapids and drive back to Pokhara
After breakfast, it’s time to get ready for your last day on the river. Today we’ll really test your skills as it’s time to hit the rapids! Using all your new skills we will run the river’s more challenging rapids, encountering some bigger waves and longer rapid systems. Your instructors will be with you at all times to demonstrate correct lines and to help you increase your skills and confidence levels. After approximately 3 hours kayaking it’s time to pack up all gear and drive back to Pokhara.
