Thailand Trekking Adventure: Bangkok to Chiang Mai

10 days
Price per person from 450 USD

Arrive in Bangkok free of any hassle and explore Bangkok on your own before a real jungle adventure starts. Why not drop by our Travel Center for some free travel advice from our local travel experts? From Bangkok we will arrange transportation to Mae Sot and Umphang from where the trek starts.

Umphang Junlge trek is a must-do trek in Thailand and is one of the most remote places in Thailand for trekking and hiking. In 1999 the place was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Experience rafting down the Mae Klong River passing by impressive limestone cliffs, trekking through dense jungle and sleep in remote local villages to experience simple living at its very best. Also enjoy a refreshing dip in Thailand’s largest waterfall and, depending on the season, dive in from one its many plateaus (for the dare devils!). This tour has for many years been a favourite for backpackers and rightly so!

After the trekking adventure, we will transfer you to Chiang Mai. This place offers great activities – from cooking class, ziplining, trekking, temples and culture experiences. Whatever you are planning to do, you will have a good time ahead.

Tour highlights

what our travellers say

Trine, Testimonial
Great Diving Adventure!

Ever since I tried diving the first time, I've been completely hooked! I booked a liveaboard tour with Bikudo to Similan Island in Thailand and it was simply a great adventure!
