Our local team knows many great secrets in and around Bangkok and are happy to share!

What is a Travel Center?

We know it can be difficult to travel independently to a new country, with a different language and culture. At our Travel Centers you can talk face to face to local travel experts, who knows about the country and the culture, how to get from A to B and can help plan your upcoming adventure or simply give you directions to the best bar in town. The idea behind our Travel Centers is to give new arrivals a "soft landing" by providing a place where they can come and get all their questions answered and all concerns addressed. Through our local partners, we can provide expert local knowledge, help arrange transportation and book tours for your next destination.

Our location in Bangkok:

Bangkok is a huge city with several "downtown" areas. We have focused our attention to the Silom area as it has a great location to get around the city and close to several attractions as well. It's walking distance to the river where you have a bunch of water busses and taxis. You have have the Sky Train not too far away either. It's easy to get a taxi here and you have the iconic and legendary Sky Bar at Lebua known from the movie Hangover Part 2 from Bangkok. Then Bangkoks called Lumpini Park which is great for a morning run or a stroll to get away from the chaos of the city.

Meet the team:

In 2012 I left Germany and started a new life in Bangkok. I've since realised that i found a new home in Thailand. I have been constantly traveling throughout the region and made many lasting memories and friendships. While maybe less developed in some ways, the region is rich in natural beauty and culture and offers one of the greatest culinary kitchens in the world. Eight years later, I still think that the people are everything and I'm still surprised at the hospitality and friendliness that I have been searching for all my life.

“Live with no excuses and travel with no regrets” - I learned to lived by that motto when I left my previous job and embarked on a solo adventure for 17 months. It was the best experience of my life to date. 37 countries later, and Thailand is still one of my favorites. Delicious food, a rich and varied culture, friendly local people, beautiful beaches and stunning mountains - what more can you ask for?

Once in a lifetime experience

I had the most amazing trekking tour to Stok Kangri in India last summer. It was simply one of the best experiences in my life. I can highly recommend to book a trekking tour through Bikudo Travel.
